He is injured and CHU takes good care of him. Both CHEE and FUNG feel upset seeing them together. KIT and MON want to run away, but KIN and MON’s employer catch them. MON gives up trying. CHU revises some post-mortem cases with LUNG. She asks him to save up for their future. MON once lent some money to a man, SHING. He has now become rich and wants to free her from prostitution. Although she wants KIT to do it, she has no choice. CHEE and CHU help a beggar. She gives them a butterfly knot each as a present. KIT falls ill from missing MON. LUI tells him that she is leaving with SHING. He runs to find her, but she tells him that she has never loved him. After KIT begs her to stay, she admits that she does not want to ruin him……
